Ken Bona

Ken Bona is Managing Director, Public Markets at IMCO. He leads a team responsible for sourcing and monitoring external fundamental public equity managers and for leveraging external partnerships to support IMCO’s public markets investment strategy.

Ken joined IMCO in 2022 after spending more than 25 years at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where he held progressively senior roles focused on external manager selection, portfolio construction, risk oversight, and investment analytics across global public equity markets. Additionally, Ken was a member of the Investment Committee responsible for external allocations to public equity, hedge funds, insurance-linked securities, and credit. His experience also includes structured internal equity portfolio management, currency and factor overlay oversight, and the development of risk analytics.

Ken holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University, and is a CFA charterholder.
